Villa Anna is not just one of those villas you come across in the rental market. You see, before Anna and Teri - its owners –and their children decided to put it in the market, it was intended as their home. This is the reason why everything has been given extra attention and care - especially the garden, which is exclusively Anna’s and Teri’s children making.
The villa is particularly large (320 sq. m. with another 100 sq. m. balconies), able to accommodate up to 13 people. It was built in 2001 but it was fully renovated in 2013-14. It features a large living room with a fireplace, a dining area, a fully equipped kitchen, four bedrooms, two bathrooms (one with Jacuzzi) and all possible modern conveniences. There are balconies all around the villa with breathtaking views over the lands and sea.
Outside, you will find an 80sq. m.swimming pool, surrounded by deck chairs, a playground for our young friends and a BBQ area. Last but not least, there is a basketball court where you can try out your skills.
NOTICE: For bookings up to 8 persons, only the main villa will be rented and not the apartment since the price is different after the 8
Villa Anna is located at the center of Crete, meaning that you can easily travel and explore every corner of the island.
Furthermore, all facilities are within 5 minutes’ distance by car. At the village of Stavromenos you can find a bakery shop, mini markets, small tavernas and many different shops. Also, the beach of Stavromenos, one of the longest beaches in Crete, is just 5 km away.
Lastly, you should know that you are only 8 km away from Arkadi Monastery, one of the most important historical monuments in Crete. Cretans’ greatest sacrifice in the name of freedom took place at this very plateau of Mount Idi back in 1866; 1.500 Cretans fought against 15.000 Turks only to see their defenses break quickly. With captivity being the only option, Cretans gathered in the powder keg for their final act… Yes, the bang was heard to Heraklion. It was the beginning of the end of the Turkish Domination. Europe’s feelings shifted decisively in favor of Greece. Arkadi was given the title of a European Freedom Monument by UNESCO.
It was e wonderfull house. All the facilities were there. Enough space in the bedrooms, enough closets, enough space to store your stuff. The house is good situated, near a small village with some good restaurants and the beach is only 7km away. We were ther at the end of Octobre. The weather was nice, only the swimming pool was a little bit cold. That was a pity.
A beautiful villa and great for our party of 9 people plus 2 babies. We had terrible weather (first time it has rained in 7 months- unlucky!!) so spent a lot of time indoors in the villa which was comfy and spacious for us all. The one sunny day we spent by the pool which was beautiful. Perfect for families or large groups. Manos 's restaurant and sightseeing activities were all spot on - do trust... more
A fantastic villa for families or large groups. We stayed here with 8 adults and 2 babies and had a brilliant time. Large enough to hold all of us comfortably inside and for meals and the pool was gorgeous - great space for chilling and entertaining the little ones. The studio room downstairs is all self contained so was great for the baby which wasn't sleeping that well (didn't keep us all up ups... more
Nice place with great pool. There was no cleaning of house or change of sheets during the week we stayed there, eventhough we said so when we rented it. Problems with doorhandels falling of, which owner tried to fix, without succes.
