Villa Irini is part of the Salvia Villa Complex. Actually, it is more than a complex. It is a cute little village, with its own traditional coffee shop, its own private church and its own plaza, giving you the chance to experience some of the aspects of the traditional Cretan lifestyle.

Villa Irini is the sister of Villa Antonios and Villa Marigo, the Salvia siblings, and it can accommodate up to 7 people

It is laid on two floors and features a living room with a fireplace, a dining area, a fully equipped kitchen, 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms. It also features large terraces with wonderful views. The night sky is unforgettable.

The villa has a private parking area and a private swimming pool surrounded by sunbeds and umbrellas, while it shares a large plaza and BBQ facilities.

Villa Irini is located in Skouloufia Village, 17 km from Rethymno City, and very close to some of the most important archaeological sites in Crete, like Ancient Eleftherna.

The beach of Stavromenos, part of the 13 km beach front starting from Rethymno and ending in Scaleta, is just 8 km away from villa Irini.

Also, within 5 km there is the City of Eleftherna, an independent and one of the most powerful ancient cities in Crete. Eleftherna experienced prosperity during the Roman and Early Byzantine Age. Its inhabitants were occupied with trade, agriculture and shipping. Its high development becomes obvious from the bridges that surround it. It also had its own currency, with engravings of Apollo and Artemis. Eleftherna and Knossos were not on the same side. As a highly developed independent city, Eleftherna actually fought against Knossos in the first Cretan War.
